A Smile Can Change Your Life!

Affordable yet Exceptional Dental Care

In all of our offices: Santa Barbara, Ventura, Camarillo, and Solvang, we offer orthodontia to our patients that are looking for a straighter smile. Wire braces can be used with brackets to align the teeth into a desired position. Some patients have to wear braces for a longer period of time, it just depends on how crooked their teeth are to begin with.

Early examination and appropriate treatment is also important in correcting jaw growth discrepancies which, if left untreated, may require extensive surgery to correct. We offer a complete range of orthodontic services including appliance therapy, traditional (metal) braces as well as tooth colored (ceramic) braces.

After braces are taken off, an orthodontist will create a mold of the patients teeth for a retainer. This is to keep the patients teeth straight long after their braces are removed. Orthodontic consultations are free at Johnson Family Dental. Call us today to make an appointment with any of our orthodontists: (805)755-4755

Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Aligners are made from strong, clear medical grade plastic that provides a comfortable, unnoticeable fit - no more bands or wires to irritate your mouth or affect your speech!

If you wish to not have traditional bracket braces, we offer Invisalign in all of our three Santa Barbara dental and Ventura offices. Invisalign is ideal for patients who do not want people to know that they are straitening their teeth. Many adults and teenagers prefer to have Invisalign. But it is up to you as the patient.

Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.
