Dr. Luke Czer grew up in Santa Monica, CA and earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA before going on to complete his DDS degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. While in dental school, he met and later married his beautiful classmate, Janelle, who is also now a dentist.
After dental school, Dr. Luke commissioned as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and completed a 1-year residency at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, where he gained further training in oral surgery, prosthodontics, periodontics, and endodontics. After the residency, he was stationed at Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas where he cared for the dental needs of active duty service members.
Upon completion of his assignment in Texas, Dr. Luke moved back to California to embark upon a career in private practice. Dr. Luke maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry and keeps up to date with the latest continuing education courses.
Dr. Luke enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, excursions to the beach, mountains, and anything outdoors, a good read, and a great Dodgers game.
Dr. Sastiel's passion in dentistry stems from his desire to educate and care for patients. He believes that the highest quality of dental care can only be achieved through the communication and trust between doctor and patient. He does a variety of procedures with a gentle touch, including placing dental Implants, extractions, bone and gum tissue grafting and improving patient smiles!

Dr. Sheikh received the Bernard Levin Removable Prosthodontics Award in his graduating dental class for outstanding academic and clinical achievement in Removable Prosthodontics.

Dr. Daniel Callaghan provides compassionate and patient-centered care for every individual he treats. Guided by the philosophy of treating each patient the way he would like to be treated himself, Dr. Callaghan offers a variety of options designed to maintain or enhance the quality of life. He believes that life is meant to be lived with a healthy, attractive, and functional smile, and he is committed to helping his patients achieve just that, ensuring their dental health is a source of confidence and well-being.

After earning his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, Dr. Steven Johnson earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific, where he graduated in 1994. Since then, he has remained up-to-date with his profession through numerous continuing education courses including those in conscious sedation, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Johnson is also an active member of the dental community, with memberships in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the California Dental Association. He is currently serving on the National Advisory Board of Lumineers™.
Dr. Saifee has had a passion for periodontics ever since he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He is professional but personable and tries to ease any worries patients have when they come in for a visit.

Dr. Cane is a great dentist. She is caring, compassionate and has a terrific "bedside manner. " She is also one of the most knowledgeable doctors I have ever met. Had my cleaning and x ray three weeks ago. I reserved my appointment through the website and went there on time. I got their service within 10 minutes. I was fully explained on what was covered or not by my insurance plan. The dental hygienist was friendly; sorry I forgot her name. Dr. Kim was very kind and considerate. I was able to explain my issues and get the proper treatment I needed. No doubt I will visit again in the near future!

My hygienist, Shakairi (I probably misspelled her name) is gentle, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. She explains any issues she sees and offers advice on how to correct them. Just had my cleaning this morning and everything went as expected. There weren't any surprises and the staff per my last few visits as well is still very friendly. As silly as I've looked with a half numb face smiling at them, no one laughed at me, they must be used to it... My experience here has always been great and fair. My mom works at a pediatric dental unit so I can bounce info from Johnson Family off of her and she seems to agree with all of their prices and findings. Dr. Kim has helped me in the past along with Susana, both whom are great people. No reason i won't be coming back here for the near or distant future.

Move to an entirely new location so when it came to finding a dentist within my insurance network, it came down to a “luck of the draw.” And boy, did I luck out finding Johnson Family Dental here in Paso Robles! Everyone, from the staff up front, to the hygienist & dental assistants & a great dentist are absolutely wonderful. Professional yet very personable…hey, don’t know about you but going to the dentist is not an especially enjoyable experience, but everyone there puts you at ease & are genuinely caring. Busy but this office does what it can to get you quickly when you have a problem. Highly recommend.

My 11 yr old son was originally told he would have to have 2 route canals. We had a re-evaluation with the new Pediatric Specialist on board with Southern Dental. She was wonderful! She gave us an alternative option, similar to a regular filling, but a little more of an intensive proceduer. She even worked him in that same day to get the work done that was needed on one side of his mouth. He will return to finish work on the other side of his mouth in a week. Thankfully his tooth was saved! She even used white composit, so you don't even notice he had work done on his teeth. She, and all the staff were wonderful with my son. They made sure he was comfortable through the entire procedure. I was initially nervous for my son, but the dentist and her team did a terrific job, and made my son feel at ease before, during and throughout the procedure. Their whole staff is great! FYI: Frank, the dental assistant, is AMAZING!!!
After having a horrible experience with a previous dental office a few months ago I was reluctant in returning to a dental office. I found Southern Dental close to work, looked at the reviews and gave it a try. I must say i was impressed as soon as I entered, I was warmly welcomed by the ladies at the front desk. I listened how they interacted with the other patients and these women are great. The whole staff are all welcoming and make you feel comfortable. I think I found my new dental office!

I have been seeing Dr Stephen Johnson since we moved to SB in 2017. I feel very confident with his expertise and I trust his advice. His staff and offices are top notch polite and professional but have always made me comfortable as not my favorite place …a dentist office. Now he has moved full time to Solvang I go there for my dental work with Dr Stephen.

I called Johnson family dental yesterday morning about a cracked tooth I had that was really bothering me. I am a new PT and had never been there before. They saw me that day. They told me I might have to wait because they were squeezing me in. I waited maybe 5 min. Beautiful office, clean and modern. Wonderful staff from the front desk to hygienist. So kind. Loved the dentist. He was fast and explained everything in clear terms to me. 10/10 would (and am) go back to them
Friendly neighborhood dentist. I’ve been a patient for about 2 years. Everyone is always kind, compassionate and respectful in my opinion. As someone who has fear and trauma associated with dentistry, I appreciate the people at JFD who are understanding and willing to help me understand everything about my care. It seems to me that some of the negative reviews here are a bit exaggerated. I know it can be difficult to process bad news, and I know it can be hard to have patience when dealing with medical issues, but it is a busy office and people have to wait their turn. I would absolutely recommend this dentist. In fact, Dr Cane repaired work that a less competent dentist had done on me. She was not disparaging of that dentist or me in anyway. She helped me understand what had happened and then she fixed the problem.
There’s never any waiting for my appointment. My hygienist, Maddie, is great. I’m very happy Johnson dental practice.

She gave me very valuable advice how to use a tooth pick to remove food under the implants. Excellent service as always. Thank you Dental Hygienist is very thorough and gives valuable advise. Dr Arami and her assistants is careful about explaining what needs to be done, enjoys her job and is a very nice person . This is strange to say about visiting a dental office but I actually enjoyed my visit!

My crown from a previous dentist fell out and Melany was so responsive and got me in right away to be seen. When I arrived it was hard to find parking so Espi who is also a receptionist came out and moved her car so I could park in her spot. This is an amazing place for all of your dental needs. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and provide courtesy reminders ahead of time in case you need to update your appointment. My hygienist, Michele Collins, 5/5 would recommend. She's an incredible person, very knowledgeable and friendly, gives tips on how to improve your at-home practices if you ask her, and come in to my appointments moreso to see her. The teeth cleaning I get is just a secondary coincidence :). If there existed a car wash for your teeth, she would put them out of business. Thank you, Michele, for all that you do for me.
I had one of the best dental experiences at Johnson family Dental. First of all, the dental assistant Makayla was wonderful. She made me feel very comfortable as a new patient. Dr. Callahan was amazing. My chipped front tooth repair looked so great I forgot which tooth was chipped. It was also very affordable. I had my x-rays done by Jenna and she was very patient with me. So happy to find a dentist that I actually love and the staff was so welcoming!

Shakari is a gem! I always get the best service from her. Each visit she takes the time to explain what she's doing and offer suggestions on how to brush more effectively. I have never had a hygienist as thorough and informative as she is and she's very sweet! I almost don't want to share this for fear she will become so popular, I'll have to book a year in advance :)

I visited for construction of a tooth denture. The entire staff was really kind, patient, and helpful. In particular, Dr. Jaime and assistant Brenda were extremely nice. They went over dental plans with me to ensure I was saving as much as I can, and my tooth denture was ready in about 2 weeks. Would definitely recommend!

A new crown which I had received elsewhere, came off, and my dentist was unavailable to replace it, so I went to Johnson Family Dental. I know them already because I regularly go there for their wonderful hygienist, Karin Cross. I had said I would be happy with any dentist there, so I was assigned Dr Scott (I think, not sure). Anyway, he was amazing. I could tell he really knew what he was doing, and even though it was an uncomfortable process adjusting the new crown so it fit perfectly, I so appreciated his expertise. Recently had some tooth pain, they got me in quickly and were very nice. The Dr. Was very kind. I was even able to get a cleaning, I'm sure I needed.
After avoiding going to the dentist for a couple of years I decided to go JFD and they sure took good care of me. I had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out and it was the best experience, they made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process since they could tell I was pretty nervous. Also Ann-Marie and Shakari are the best hygienist they make sure you leave with the cleanest teeth!

Forget the bad reviews here. It seems there is too many "Karens" and hatters. This review is long over due. I have been coming to Johnson for years now. The dental team has always been very attentive and helpful. They always greet you with a smile and answer all my questions. Any time I have had trouble with my insurance (which seems to be the problem) they always help me resolve and get them to pay. They follow up with any questions or concerns and get me in right away when ever the family has dental emergency. The kids love coming for the balloons and their toothbrush. I will continue to come here as they are the best in Ventura!

I hVr been putting going to the dentist since moving to Santa Maria. I started going to Johnson Family Dental and they have made everything from making appointments to going to the appointment easier. The staff has been very nice and welcoming and I actually enjoy going to the dentist. I also find it very convenient that I was able to replace my retainers that I lost there too. Again, super easy!!

Went to Johnson’s dental on an emergency. Jessica got me an appointment immediately for the same day. I explained my fear of dentists and the entire staff was understanding and comforting. Turned out I needed an extraction which really made me nervous. Dr B and his lovely assistant whom I can’t remember her name, literally comforted me and talked me through the entire process. I did not feel a single thing. I’m amazed on how gentle it was. I know that sounds crazy but it really was. I walked out happy with another appointment and I have to admit after this amazing visit I have no fear or anxiety. Thank you thank you

This is the best dental office in town. I came in for an exam and was even able to get some work done that same day! The doctor is very knowledgeable and takes her time explaining what I need. After moving to Santa Barbara years ago, I finally transferred my care to Johnson Family Dental. The process was insanely easy & the insurance paperwork was completed online prior to my first visit. Dr. Crane was also very helpful with giving me advice regarding sleep disorders (very knowledgable about sleep apnea) and pointed me in the right direction towards an ENT. today was my second visit in less than a week at Johnson Family Dental in Camarillo. I had just recently lost a crown right in front and I was able to get right in to see Dr. Sugimoto and her assistant Lisa the very next afternoon.. I was amazed when I was able to get an appointment for that very next day and already my temporary crown awaited me. Lisa is a compliment. to Dr. Sugimoto keeping things moving right along and her sense of humor did not escape me. Johnson Family Dental did treat me like family.

My son is traumatized by bad experiences at the dentist. He was very happy that the x-rays didn't hurt. I was happy that we came in for routine cleaning and they were able to fit in fillings that day and made another appointment for fillings on the other side. I've had the same insurance for a long time but somehow this is the first time insurance covered everything. Supper convenient that orthodontist on site. We took advantage of consultation that day since X-rays were taken for cleaning. Great price!

Wow the service here is amazing! Most dentist offices are so eerie and uncomfortable but here is so light and the people seem genuinely nice and not just customer service nice. My wisdom tooth had been bothering me and they got me in as soon as humanly possible and are removing it same day. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend.

I chose family Dental because of the location. It was a great choice. I get notifications just before my appointment time, waiting times are very short, and this visit they offered a mouth cancer scan. Very simple procedure. My visit was for a cleaning but I got xrays and a Dr.s visit. All to make sure of my dental health and no out of pocket expenses. Thank you Family Dental and the staff that takes care of me.

I was referred to Johnson family dental when I suddenly felt a terrible toothache. The pain was pretty bad and I feared I would have to wait days before I was able to get relief. The lovely staff scheduled an appointment rite away. I was worried not having dental insurance would set me back, but the doctors were very understanding and truly invested in my well being. That same day I got a root canal which saved my tooth and almost instantly relieved my pain. I am so grateful for the front desk staff who helped me figure out finances and schedule appointments. Also the doctors who did the work on my teeth. And the lovely technicians who kept reassuring me that everything was ok and kept me comfortable through the whole process.

My 4 year old had her first ever dentist appointment and had a great experience. The hygienist was sweet and fun. Very kid friendly staff. She explained Mr. Thirsty and Mr. Tickler so she was not scared at all by the tools they used to clean her teeth. The Dentist lightened the mood by cracking jokes, which had our daughter in stitches. We were able to get her cleaning and xrays done in one sitting and that’s largely due to how safe and comfortable the staff made her feel. We will definitely be back!

At no point did I feel they were trying to sell me on services that I didn’t really need. I was hesitant to go to JFD, but I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good option.
Johnson Dental put me in the decision-making I received clear & informative information on what needed to be done. Received a broken down invoice on the treatment plan. I regret being skeptical on finding another dentist. Everytime I seeked new Dentist they usually tell me what the plan they are going to-do, however I regret there decision-making within months. Especially when I see the bill.

I’ve ALWAYS have had bad experiences with dentists, which is why I allowed my teeth to get so bad. At The Johnson Family Dental, they not only made me feel comfortable at every visit, the dentist “Dr. G” made sure that I was comfortable on the chair. She was so gentle, it became very easy for me to TRUST her working on my teeth. On the day she was not at work, another dentist prescribed me the antibiotics I needed. Any likes or dislikes, Dr. G makes sure she writes it in my chart, so not only she can read it, but her assistants, as well as other dentist can read it. I always had to take anxiety medication or be put to sleep for my treatments with other dental groups, but at Johnson Family Dental, I know I will be comfortable and in good hands, no matter which dentist treats me. The office has all the updated tools and equipment necessary to run a top notch dental office. With this, I highly recommend Johnson Family Dental. What do you have to lose? If your unhappy you can always take your business somewhere else.

I brought my two children in for their first dental exam and teeth cleaning and they had a great first experience at Johnson Family Dental.
Today was our first time visiting Johnson Family Dental. My daughter refused to open her mouth for her last check up at a different dental office and I wasn’t happy with the effort they made to try and make my daughter feel comfortable. I wasn’t sure how she would do with getting her teeth cleaning today..... I was blown away with how friendly the staff is here and how well my daughter did with Shakari the dental hygienist she was thorough, patient and kind! Thank you Johnson Family Dental we will definitely be back! Having a 2 year old it hard to find time to leave reviews, but I made time for this one! You guys are the BEST!!!
The hygienist, Natalya, in the Solvang store , is amazing. I haven't had my teeth fixed there by dentists however .

My experience at Johnson Family Dental has been great! The reception staff is efficient, friendly and organized. The insurance/financial team was also fantastic. The doctors and hygienists go above and beyond to ensure your experience is a pain free as possible. They were kind and compassionate and definitely did what they could to help ease any anxiety I had. They talked me through the process and provided nitrous gas to help keep my nerves at ease. You could tell that all of the staff genuinely cares about the patients. I've always hated going to the dentist and am happy I found a great spot to make this a little easier for me!

Dr. Hlavaty was excellent like always, i had my two top wisdoms removed plus a half of moler on the top as well. It literally took 20 minutes to do so. Hygienist Shakari Russell numbed me great and the assistant to the Doctor was superior as well. Great experience for me, and im like most people im scared of the dentist . Not anymore , that was a breeze. Thank you all!!!

I saw Dr Kidon, after a short wait, very pleasantly surprised how she explained everything she did in my check up. Explained my options and had the tech go over ideas n cost. I had a teeth cleaning appointment. My Hygienist, Gloria, was very thorough, friendly, and professional . She took the time to examine my teeth and gums before the cleaning, reviewed previous X-ray, and booked a follow up appointment with the orthodontist. The check in process was fast and I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment .

Unfortunately, I am a difficult patient with a bad gag reflex. They tried 3 different xray procedures, that did not work. The office manager, found me another Dentist office that could help with special patients. They did not charge me for the visit. I was impressed with what they did to accommodate me. I will return.
I'm a new patient at this dental practice. Dr. Luce was my doctor. He was very gentle and caring. The staff was great as well. Very nice and friendly. Everything is super clean as you would expect from a doctors office. Today I went to get my permanent crown and again, all super friendly, clean, and caring. I love the organization of the office at La Cumbre and State in Santa Barbara. Everything runs efficiently and the people are always so friendly to the patients and to each other, continually helping each other out. My hygienist name is Crystal and I absolutely love her! I'm 55 years old and she is the best hygienist I've had in my life. She is sweet and friendly and always makes you feel good oh, she's very efficient and explains what she is doing as she's doing it. She gives you time to say a few words and removes the instruments when she asked you a question so you can answer. You'd be amazed what a little gift that is! I've been very pleased with Johnson Family Dental.

Very friendly professional and polite. I called with an emergency because I had a really horrible tooth that was broken and just in excruciating pain. They were able to get me in and discuss in detail all of my many options. My insurance doesn't cover Johnson dental. However I choose to be a cash pay patient here for many reasons Including their more the wonderful staff. They also have finance options if you cant afford the cost all at once. Overall just an amazing experience from beginning to end!

Dr Kidon was very gentle and took the time to explain everything she was doing. She and her assistant, Edgar, made sure that I was comfortable during the entire visit. I am a nervous patient, and need lots of reassurance and TLC, which is just one of the reasons that I have been going to Johnson Family Dental for over 20 years!
I love living so close, no parking problems, and excellent service. I go every 3 month's to get a cleaning and it is really worth it to stay on top of it. My hygentist is excellent and very knowledgeable.

Having worked in the dental field I am hyper aware of details. The facility is modern and very clean, the staff polite, professional, uniformly dressed and better than average looking. The treatment rooms have digital xray, and all the modem equipment. They are very thoroughly and patient not settling in for less than perfect. I went in to have my crown installed but the margins we're a millimeter or so of so they prepped for a new one to be made. The best part is it doesn't smell like a dentist office of the past.
I got two filling done and didn’t feel anything they gave me breaks and made sure I wasn’t in any pain. I would recommend going here they are all so nice and good at what they do.

My daughter had a great check up today... a cleaning with the hygienist Karin... the assistant Chary was great at getting the x-rays and Dr M (can spell his full name) the kiddo doctor said her teeth look great... no cavities! I highly recommend bringing your whole family to this office!
Everyone was very nice, and helpful. I was given information about what needed to be done and different options. And that was nice. One tooth is super sensitive and they was good with that. I would recomend this dentist to friends and family. And i might add first visit don't take months to get in.

Everyone was extremely friendly and very helpful when it came to getting the problem fixed. The doctor extracted the problem tooth the same day and made me extremely comfortable. My first visit they got me in, everyone super sweet and professional and kind with my anxiety issues. I had a root canal and I didn’t feel any pain the entire time in the chair. Liz is a fantastic hygienist. So thorough and fully explains all she does. She has a gentle touch which relaxes me and I'm phobic!!! Also, she stays current with dental research and that is critical.
My son, whom is five met with one of the Pediatric dentist at the Santa Barbara location today. I can’t tell you how wonderful, helpful and explanatory he was to me and to my son. I was so upset finding out my son had a cavity and the dentist explained that my sons teeth were formed it made it difficult to get a toothbrush all the way down on his molars. He then explained how he would do the fillings, the best corse of action to prevent more cavity’s and made both my son and I very comfortable. Thank you to he and his wonderful hygienist.

Seriously awesome practice. They're extremely efficient, helpful, accommodating, and thorough! Plus they use electronic forms and send them to you ahead of time so you don't spend 20 minutes filling out paperwork like the 1990's. I even saw the X-Ray tech wipe down the machine with a disinfecting wipe when she was through. Highly recommend.
Had a checkup and cleaning today. The staff were friendly and thorough. Gave me the option of a fluoride treatment, which I declined, as it's an extra cost and only needs to be done annually.

Good experience! I was very nervous about getting 2 root canals, but everyone I interacted with put me at ease. I was given clear instruction, was made comfortable, and even some tips on how to make it all more manageable (headphones and music up ). There was no pain, I just really hate the noises. Great team!

Excellent experiences with Johnson Family Dental, including cleaning, x-rays and recent filling with Dr. Kidon. Strongly recommend their services, but the parking availability can be a little sketchy at times, especially when it's raining. Otherwise no complaints regarding their services per se and the intra-office plan for reduced cost of some services for those of us without dental insurance helps a lot. Thank you to all the staff. They are all very polite and helpful.
Easy to get an appointment quickly. The dentists are always willing to take care of the little things like filing down something that's getting on your nerves. Their work seems to be very good and I have not had to go back for problems. A bit expensive, but they always work it out with the insurance company ahead of doing any work. They are friendly and courteous and worth the extra money, especially for the convenience. I even got a free tattoo on my crown

Every time I’ve been to Johnson family dental it’s been a pleasant experience. The staff is always kind, courteous, and informative. Today I worked with Connie, for attention to detail really impressed me left me feeling completely taken care of. Not rushed but at the same time efficient. She took her time to answer all of my questions, and gave me great insight on the how to care for my teeth specifically for my needs. Looking forward to my next six-month cleaning !

Dr. Kim is amazing. She took the time to listen to me, addressed all my questions and was able to get me in for my fillings the same week as my initial consultation. She did a fantastic job doing my fillings and spent extra time fixing my chipped front teeth and now they are perfect!! She’s given me so much more confidence in my smile and in myself. Her techs, Sonia and Priscilla were incredible as well! They made me feel so welcome and comfortable and made everything so easy for me. I love this dental office. Everyone there seems so qualified and efficient with the job they do. My pet peeve is a medical / dental office which has inefficient ancillary employees. The hygienists are gentle and professional The dentist is great at explaining issues with my mouth and he does not encourage me to have procedures that are not necessary....and he seems like a nice guy!
This was my first time seeing Dr Cooper & I was quite pleased. He is friendly, actually very humorous, and explains everything quite well. I will be happy keeping him as my dentist. I had a front tooth come loose & he was able to bond it to the tooth next to it. He did an excellent job.

This had to be the best dental group i have been to! Great staff polite genital yet they got all the work done very quickly and painlessly. I got a full deep cleaning done in 2 consecutive days including an extraction pn the second day sounds like a lot but i had very little soreness either day. Thank you staff of Johnson family dental!

the dental hygiene Paula was super awesome! I appreciated all she did for me. But my appointment didn't go smoothly because the front desk staff didn't handle things correctly getting my info from the SB office. They took forever to get my records so I had to wait and in the end Paula cleaned my teeth without having my records and did not give me the right treatment. I asked them if they wanted to reschedule to get things in order but insisted it was fine. It was not fine and wish I would have trusted my gut. Despite the frustration with everything going wrong, everyone was super nice. I'm hoping my next visit goes better than this one and they are ready for me.

Let me start by saying I HATE THE DENTIST!!! With a passion. When I went in for my free check. I told them all “I hate you guys” and they all laughed and said we will take good care of you. That is just what they have done. Peggy is the first contact you meet and from there on out it got easier. With out Peggy I would probably not have came back. She is so warm kind and makes you feel like you matter and she is glad to see you. The dr and staff is clean officiant Kind and patient and gentle. They have built my confidence up. I hate to say this but I now look kind and patient and gentle . I hate to say this but I am looking forward to going to next apt. I can’t reamber the lady’s name but if she reads this she knows it’s her and I need to say thank you so so much for the gentle hand and how patient you are with me. Ashly is also Excellent can’t say enough about her but she is very careing soft hand and know what’s up . Theses 3 women are a aset to this company and phenomenal with there aww is job. this company is lucky to have . I truly mean this when I say I will recommend everyone I know to go to this place iw

I would recommend Dr. Coates any day of the year he is very professional he took a lot of time with me details of what he was going to be doing the work on my mouth I felt literally no pain during the procedure And after the procedure I felt very little pain if any at all I was really surprised at that because I expected to feel some pain since the surgery on my mouth would be extensive. My last visit to an endodontist was a complete nightmare full of pain during the procedure and two weeks after the procedure but the visit with Dr. coach was the exact opposite if you have any apprehension Dr. coach of the person you need to go see.
I have had a really great experience coming here. It had been over a decade since I had been to a dentist because I had a fear of the dentist. Dr Kim and the whole team helped me get over my fear completely. They are friendly, caring, and efficient. Since I became a patient last year I have had multiple cavities filled as well as cosmetic gum lazering and crowns. Each experience has been a positive one and I am so proud of my healthy, happy smile.
My appointment was my first here! I was thrilled! Efficient and professional and highly friendly! Dr Kimberly was wonderful and my cleaning the next day by Malia was great. Absolutely incredible people! So gentle and so so kind. Very patient with me and my two year old. My daughter is 2 and was kinda having a hard time staying still so one of the ladies came in and brought her a bunch of toys to play with and she just had the best time, they were not only amazing with me but they were so awesome with my baby too and I couldn’t thank them enough for everything they did for us. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone. I’ll never use another dentist office. They are the go-to dentist office for me and my family. I am 78, with a long history. I went in on a free x-ray and teeth cleaning appointment, and was told I needed a periodontal cleaning. (I didn't really expect a free teeth cleaning, since I hadn't been to a dentist in 10 years). The experience far exceeded my expectations; the cleaning was excellent, the doctor and dental tech were highly capable, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I am very, very impressed, especially compared with other dentists in my experience.

It was my first time going to Johnson Dental and I am extremely impressed. The office environment was extremely clean and pleasant. The front office staff were ready and got the process started very quickly. I have been to many dentists and I have to say the use of technology in this office is definitely ahead of any office I have been to. This time I was there for general check up and cleaning and I am extremely happy and impressed by the experience. Very friendly with attention to detail. I normally get a little uncomfortable on the dental chair but this time around totally changed my view of going to dentists and I definitely recommend Johnson Dental.
I used to go to this office a few years ago and switched dentists due to insurance and job location reasons. But I chipped my tooth a day before leaving on vacation (of course) and my current dentist was out of town, so I called Johnson Dental and they fit me in that day. All the staff were wonderful and friendly, and the dentist was so nice, explained everything to me and had a great sense of humor. I decided to switch back even though it’s a bit out of the way...the friendliness, customer service and great work are definitely worth it. Thanks!!

This is the best dentist I have ever had. I used to be fearful when going in but now I can be relaxed while my teeth are cleaned by friendly professionals. And a plus is that they even care about whether I’m in pain or if my teeth are sensitive they make sure not to trigger it and adjust to my needs! I love this office and wish that I found it sooner. Thanks Shakari! 4/4/2018 Shakar is the greatest. I going to see her every 3 months because I need it. My pockets are hovering at 4-6mm and she always takes the time to compare and work with me on what is getting better and what needs more work. She takes her time and is considerate. Overall things are getting better. The plan is to get rid of all the 5's and I think we can do it. Ill make another post with my progres. 7/25/18 Ok my pockets and recession has definitely stabilized. I still have a 6 pocket on my left molar but at least it's stable .We used Arrestin. Lets hope the pocket goes down. Anyways . Shakari is amazing as always . I've had atleast 8 hygienists and she's the best

Today was my second visit. Although I was having a procedure done and felt very nervous, the doctor and assistant did everything possible to keep me calm. They put on music, were very reassuring. Even the shot for numbing I barely felt. Completely satisfied with my experience here and will recommend them to all my friend.
First visit was today. Check-in was easy, I filled out all the paperwork online before coming in. All the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The office was under construction but kept very clean. X-rays were taken and were done easily. Everything was explained very well. No complaints and will be keeping them as my new dentist

I went into the dentist with stained yellow teeth and came out with an all new smile. Now keep in mind here that this is my very first time getting any work done by them. However after my cleaning it has boosted my confidence and my smile. After my first cleaning I just want to smile even more now even though I didnt like to before. The dentist's assistant, Sonia, was amazing! What brought me in today, was a bike accident I was involved in, which caused my two front teeth to be pushed back, completely out of the bone. During my X-Rays and pictures, I was nervous of it "possibly" hurting. Boy, was I wrong! Sonia tried VERY carefully to not knock my front teeth at all, and she was successful! Thank you Sonia for being so gentle and cautious about my concerns! The remaining staff was very welcoming and polite as well. Very "homey" atmosphere, which I very much so appreciated...

Such an amazing staff here. I’ve never, in 28 years, been so comfortable at a dentist. Without getting too personal, they really helped me out today. When you visit a dr of any practice ~ and their kindness & willingness, to do whatever they can to take care of you, and make you comfortable - makes you cry... that speaks volumes. The entire staff are sweethearts. Even the female who answered the phone when I called, was super sweet and upbeat during the entire call. That’s rare at a medical office! Medical is not one of our country’s best attributes, to say the least. I have maybe left reviews for three places, in my entire life - so it takes a lot for me to do this. Johnson Family Dental went far above and beyond what they needed to for me - and I cannot describe the level of gratitude I feel. On a very short notice, Johnson Family Dental of Camarillo, CA scheduled me for a dental crown repair. Erica, their receptionist was responsive and very courteous as she scheduled my short-fused appointment. Venessa, a dental assistant was caring and technically savvy as assisted Dr. Truong and personally looked after me. Finally, Dr. John Truong clearly explained my procedure, made sure that I was comfortable, and professionally executed my procedure. Once again, I'm happy with my dental procedure and I highly recommend Johnson Family Dental!

I have had a very pleasant experience going to the Johnson Family Dental. It was easy to get an appointment for dental cleaning and annual check-up. I had both procedures done last week. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Danny was the dental hygienist who took the time to thoroughly clean my teeth. Dr. Hlavaty read my dental X-rays and examined the condition of my teeth. He recommended replacement of a filling that fell off. A week later, he replaced the filling. Every single one at the dental clinic was very professional - very competent and very caring. I am very pleased and satisfied with my experience as patient at the clinic.

This dental office is very professional, efficient, and friendly. Dr. Lu, Jason, Marian, and Sophie made the my cleaning & cavity filling visit a very easy experience. Another bonus is that they are open on Saturdays, which is flexible for work schedules. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic service! Every staff member here it's incredibly nice (and it feels genuine not forced) and the dentist is very knowledgeable. I went in for an unknown sore in my mouth and the dentist was able to quickly diagnose it. I highly recommend them, and I will definitely go back when I need any dental work.

My other dentist couldn’t see me for another 3 weeks while I was in pain, Johnson’s got me in to be seen right away and were able to fix my molar!! Excellent service.

Our family has been going to Johnson Family Dental for 3 years now and have enjoyed every visit. The staff are super friendly and our kids enjoy going to the dentist. My 5 year old had a minor procedure done and was very nervous at first but smiling after it was complete. She got a local anesthetic to numb her gums and never even knew she had a huge syringe in her mouth thanks to distractions and teamwork on the staffs part.
All the people at Johnson dental in midtown Ventura are caring and helpful. If visiting the dentist can ever be pleasant-it would be here. Additionally and importantly they're as competent as they are courteous. I highly recommend Johnson Family Dental.
Dr. Kim was fantastic! She mentored assistants patiently along the way. She took time with you and made you comfortable, so you didn't feel she was in a rush to get to her next patient. She was always ready to stop and explain details. It has been a wonderful experience compared to offices I've been to that were money hungry and unkind.

My husband and I received excellent care and kind consideration at the Camarillo Johnson Family Dental Office. Our dentist of 20 years retired, and we were nervous of having anyone else tend to our dental care. But Dr. Truong and his team of professional assistants had us feeling at ease immediately. The office itself is bright & welcoming. The exam/treatment rooms are modern, fully equipped and well maintained. The entire office runs like a well-oiled machine. We expect to enjoy a long relationship with our new family dentist & crew!.
Had a great experience here. I showed up 30 minutes early and was greeted with a smile. The staff accommodated and showed me to the back, even though they seemed busy. My assistant Jana'e was very nice and professional. Dr. Troung was great at explaining and performing the procedure. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

This is the only dentist I trust in San Luis Obispo. They are friendly and knowledgeable. They get me in and out of the office promptly and there is little to no wait at you appointment. I appreciate their conservative approach to dentistry and I have never felt pressure to have any work done. I feel they genuinely care about my well being and have my best interest in mind. This is the only dentist in the area that kept me coming back after the second visit.

Great office and staff! greeted with a friendly smile and was even offered snacks and a drink! you can tell the employees love to work here and they go beyond to make you feel comfortable (which for me - at a dental office, is extremly hard). I came with a lot of questions - unfortunately i have had a lot of teeth filled and even a couple root canals but Dr. Troung answered them with knowledge and experience. I have a couple teeth that need work and i am very confident going forward with Dr. Troung and his staff! and a shout out to the dental assistant Vanessa, she took my mind off the fact i was at the dentist and she was very professional and nice.
I absolute love coming here the office is so unique compared to the other office I've been to, they have fresh cookies, juice and water that are available to us while we are waiting to be seen. The greeters at that front are super friendly and helpful always nice to see them when coming in. The doctors are super nice and genuine they make me feel like an actual person and not a number like other offices. They definitely pay attention to detail. I will recommend them any day!!
When I first walked into Johnson Family Dental I was amazed at the cleanliness of the office the friendly smiles and personalities. I had an appointment at 9:00am and was in my opertory by 8:55am. The staff there is very informative and educated in there specific job title. The assistant that helped me was a guy which was different for me it was the time I'd had a male assistant, he was so personable and made me feel at ease. I would and have recommended this office to my friends and family. So if you are looking for a dental office that knows what they're doing and does great work go check them out..

I had such a great experience at the Camarillo office that I would recommend everyone choosing them for any type of work that is needed. They are All so wonderful, happy, work so well together, and always makes sure that our experience when we're there we feel like family. Watching how they treat everyone who walks in the door and calling the regular patients by name makes me feel so comfortable and happy that customer service is still alive. Now days you go into places and there is "No" longer any true customer service and this place makes me feel like I'm welcomed. Customer service is the most important thing to me, since that's what I've done for over 38 years. I will continue going to them as long as the team stays together, Yesiñia, Vanessa, Dr. Troung, Ashley and others. Thank you for ALWAYS making me feel like I matter to all of you.

Amazing service!!!! I would definitely come back here.I've been with the same dentist for years and I was having a horrible tooth ache and couldnt get back to see him. They squeezed me in the same day and did not make me wait long at all. They did an emergency root canal and made sure the whole time I was comfortable. I have never been to such a professional dentist office in my life.

Palm Dental Care really changed the way I view going to the dentist. After neglecting to go for quite some time, I made an appointment. I couldn't of asked for a better experience. All previous anxiety quickly disappeared. Peggy at the front desk is very warm and motherly, and instantly made me feel comfortable. If i could give more than 5 stars I would. This office was beyond amazing. From the receptionist to the billing lady Peggy at the end. I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years. I was so scared I almost cancelled. The lady who did my xrays was very warm and nice and had me thinking about other things. Then the dentist came in and he was wonderful. Very mellow, kind, and gental. Let me know everything he was doing and calmed my hears. Then I went to see Nancy for my deep cleaning. She definitely had her work cut out for her, she kept stopping to ask me if I was okay and if the pain was too much, She was very kind and very gentle. She didn't seem rushed or in a hurry at all and far most I for once at the dentist was very comfortable. If you have a huge fear of the dentist as i do, this is definitely the place for you. I don't see how anyone could have a bad experience here. I hope the Dr. And staff all know how wonderful they really are.
I have always had a terrible fear of going to the dentist. This was the first time I can say it was a great experience and I do not mind going back. I had a new crown and had my teeth cleaned so there was work to do. Everyone so so kind and patience it was easy and Dr. Leroux was gentle and aware of my fears. For me to say I will go back is a complement because I have hated the dentist as long as I can remember. My family has been coming to the Solvang office for years. Dr Holbrook and Dr Winn are both wonderful dentists. I especially like that they make me feel like apart of their family. My grandkids love coming too! Finding the right dental office is individual. The staff is friendly, and understanding. Liz and Brit are great hygienists too. I just had the best dental experiance of my life here!! I've been living in slo for the summer and am leaving at the end of the week. My retainer came loose a few days ago and Palm Dentistry went out of their way to fit me in 30min after I called. Everyone was incredibly accommodating and very nice. They fixed my retainer quickly and comfortably. Highly recommend!!!

Went a couple times, for a check up and to get a cavity filled. Great service, nice people, very fast and painless. Didn't feel a thing when my cavity was getting worked on. Dr. called the next day to check up on me. Would recommend to anyone.
I had a great experience at Johnson Dental Family. The staff is always cheerful especially in the early morning and you are always welcome. My procedure was painless and my dentist made sure that I was comfortable. I like it when you want something done they will include you insurance and tell you need to pay out of pocket. I like that because I don't like surprises.

Every time I visit Palm Dental for a cleaning or appointment, the staff is very friendly and professional. I had only been there one time and the second time I went the whole office seemed to remember my name and greeted me! Pretty impressive if you ask me. The dental hygienists are very nice and do a good job. Definitely would recommend this place to family or friends.
Is it me, or are there very few healthcare providers that truly respect and care about the customer's experience? Palm Dental is certainly one of the few. I had a routine cleaning/exam with my newborn in tow today and was quite nervous about how it would work out. The entire staff was very welcoming to both of us, especially Peggy who entertained him during my cleaning. I've always been impressed with the staff's concern for my comfort, but today I was blown away. I would highly recommend this dental practice!
